Written Examination dates, as well as the schedule for the, admit card has been released by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

The examination will be held in the month of November for four days: November 10, 11, 17, and 18, 2018.

 

Written Exam Details

 

For Batch I, the examination would be conducted on November 10 and 11, 2018. The admit cards will be made available on the official website by October 29, 2018.

 

As for Batch II, the examination will be held on November 17 and 18, 2018. The admit cards for the same would be released by November 7, 2018, on the official website.


The candidates who applied for the posts took care of the following Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: The candidate should have an age of minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years as on
September 18, 2018

Educational Background: The candidate should be class 10 pass from any recognized board with Hindi and Sanskrit as a compulsion up to Metric level.

Important Documents Required
- The candidates are required to carry their class 10 certificate along as a compulsion.
- If applicable they are also required to bring their Social Reservation Certificate, Socio-Economic criteria, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate.

Number of Vacancies
- There are 18,128 vacancies which are divided into categories: General, SC, BCA, BCB with 8312, 4245, 3345, 2316 seats respectively.

Criteria for Selection, Examination, and Syllabus.

The scheme of marks in respect of selection to Group D posts in the service shall comprise of total 100 marks, as detailed below:
i) Written Exam: 90 marks
ii) Socio-Economic criteria and experience: 10 marks

The commission shall make selection and recommendation of the names of candidates to a department or an office on the basis of merit in written examination, experience, and socio-economic criteria.

The written exam shall be divided into two portions, compromising:
- 75% weight for general awareness, reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi as applicable.
- 25% weight for History, current affairs, literature, geography, civics, environment, culture etc. Of Haryana.
