HP Police Constable 2019 written test schedule has been announced Office of the Director-General of Police, Himachal Pradesh. The examination is scheduled to be held on September 08, 2019.
HP Police has released the district-wise serial no. details for the Constable Written Test 2019 on its official website. Along with the district-wise list, HP Police has also released the instructions related to the exam.
Candidates are required to bring your one latest passport size colour photograph along with valid ID proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence etc.) for verification. In the absence of these requirements, no candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
Earlier the examination was scheduled to be conducted on August 11, 2019. But due to some unknown reasons, the exam was postponed. Now it will be held on September 08, 2019. The HP Police Constable 2019 written exam will be held in 12 cities across the state. Candidates are required to reach the venue at 09:00 am on the morning of the exam date.
Note:
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the examination has started.
- No candidate without admit card shall be allowed to sit in the examination.
- No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the conclusion of the test or as directed by the invigilator.
-There is no negative marking and every question has only one correct answer.

According to the official notification, "The candidates are allowed to bring with them cardboard and ball pen (black/blue). No other material such as hand bag, books, magazines, cell phone, electronic gadgets that can transfer data, health band, calculator or slide rule etc. will be allowed in the examination hall/ rooms. H.P. Police will not take responsibility for the safekeeping of such articles at the examination venues in case such items are carried by the candidates."
