HP Board of School Education has started the application process of Himachal Pradesh TET 2018.
While candidates appearing for the exam can register online on the board’s official website, the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or HPTET will be held in September this year.
The last date to apply for the exam is August 6, 2018.
How to register?
The simple steps to register as follows:
Step 1: Visit http://hpbose.org/
Step 2: Go to the notification mentioning Himachal Pradesh TET 2018 registration.
Step 3: Read the instructions.
Step 4: Fill up the form.
Step 5: Submit the form.
Step 6: After successful submission of the data, the application number will be generated.
Step 7: The candidate should keep a printout of the same with him for ready reference. Printout option for system generated Application No. is available on the website.
While the examination fee is Rs. 800 for General and its sub-categories (except PHH), students belonging to OBC/ST/SC/PHH categories need to pay Rs. 500. Last year, HPTET was held in September.
Marking pattern
There will be no negative marking in the exam
60% marks required to qualify the exam.
Who can apply for Himachal Pradesh TET 2018?
Candidates with B.A./ B.Com. with B.Ed. or 10+2 with 4 years B.El.Ed. or 10+2 with 4 years B.A.Ed. are eligible to apply for the Himachal Pradesh TET 2018 .Information regarding the applications of candidates received with fees will be uploaded on the board’s website www.hpbose.org.
The candidates can check their application for candidature and candidate particulars on the website. The candidature of the candidate, whose fees has not been received by the board, will not be considered for the TET-2018 examination. Candidate should enter his/her particulars i.e. Name, Father Name, Mother Name & Date of Birth as per his/her Secondary Education Board Class X Certificate.

HP Board of School Education will conduct the exam for TGT (Arts), TGT (NM), TGT (Medical), Shastri, Language Teacher, JBT, Punjabi and Urdu.
Candidate’s eligibility as per the criteria laid down for Teacher Eligibility Test - 2018 in the Prospectus uploaded on the Board Website.
Multiple Applications for same subject of a candidate are liable to be rejected.
The Admit Cards will be uploaded on the Board website.

Note: The admit card will not be sent to candidates separately by post. Application Forms through fax/post shall not be entertained and Board does not take responsibility to inform such candidates. The applicants are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date of submission of online application.
