Haryana Board Exams 2022-23 - PC : My Result Plus
The government of Haryana has decided to conduct the Board exams for students of Classes 5 and 8 of the state mandatorily, starting from the current academic year. Recently, the Cabinet has passed an amendment to the Haryana Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011 and has roped in new rules, which will be put to action immediately. The decision is also most likely to be implemented in private schools affiliated to CBSE, in NCR cities Faridabad and Gurugram.

Education Minister of Haryana state, Kanwar Pal took to Twitter and wrote, "Taking some important decisions on the education front, the government of Haryana has decided to resume the conduct of board exams for Classes 5 and 8 in the state. The historic decision will culminate in high level reforms in the education system."

The Haryana government released an Extra Gazette notification, in which it stated a clause of resumption of board examinations for Class 5 and 8 in the state. Introducing new rules, the government has declared that students of Class 5 and 8 will have to appear in and qualify the examination. If the student fails to qualify the examination, he/she will be given another chance by the Haryana state board.

The notification further directed the Haryana Board to release the results of Class 5 and 8 after the examination has been conducted successfully. The Haryana government has implemented the decision to necessarily conduct board examinations for Class 5 and 8 in order to monitor progress and conduct a standardized assessment of the expected learning outcomes.

After the announcement of the aforesaid decision, most likely even the CBSE-affiliated schools of the state will take to conducting Haryana board exams for Classes 5 and 8. These exams will probably be conducted under the BSEH board.
