Goa PSC Postpones March 29 Junior Scale Officer Exam Due to CoronaVirus Epidemic

In view of the novel coronavirus outbreak, the Goa Public Service Commission has postponed Computer Based Recruitment Test for the post of junior scale officers scheduled for March 29, GPSC chairman Jode Manuel Noronha said on Friday.

He said a fresh date will be announced soon.

He said the GPSC had received 3,635 applications for 22 junior scale officer posts, of which 3,580 were eligible to appear for the CBRT.

Several departmental promotion committee meetings, scheduled for March 24, have also been postponed, he informed.

Let us tell you that the number of people infected with Coronavirus has reached 206 in the country. Examinations from first to eighth grade have been postponed in Maharashtra and students will be admitted to the next class without paper.

Private and government schools have been closed in many states of India including UP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. CBSE has also postponed the examinations of class X and XII.

Apart from this, many competitive examinations have also been postponed.
