Directorate of Technical Education, Goa has released the GCET  2019 schedule.

While Goa Common Entrance Test or GCET 2019 will be held in May next year, the state government will upload the exam prospectus on its official website.

GCET is a state level entrance test organized for offering admission to various professional degree courses such as engineering, nursing and others.

Important dates at a glance

Release date for the application form:                                                      March 2019

Deadline for the submission of Application Form and receiving Admit Card:              April 2019

Deadline to submit the application form & receiving the admit card (with late fee):      April 2019

Date of entrance exam:                                                              May 7, 2019 (Physics and Chemistry) and May 8, 2019 (Mathmetics)

Result will be announced on:                                                           June 2019

Counselling starts from    June 2019

Quetsion paper pattern

Number of Questions:            75 questions (each subject)
Exam Duration:                    2 hours
Question Paper Pattern:     OMR sheet
Type of Question:            Multiple Choice Question
Marking Scheme:             +1 mark for each correct answer
Negative Marking:            No negative marking
