The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2022 online registration is open with a late fee. The candidates who still wish to register for GATE 2022 can apply till 7th October 2021 with a late fee. The candidates are required to visit the GATE official website to register for the exam- gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
The official website reads “The end date of filling the online application is September 30, 2021, without late fee. Applications may still be submitted from October 1 to October 7, 2021, with a late fee.”
How to Register for GATE 2022:
The candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps to register for GATE 2022.

Visit the official website on gate.iitkgp.ac.in

Click on the link named GATE application and complete the registration process by filling in the necessary details

Fill in the GATE 2021 application form carefully.

Upload necessary documents like scanned images of photograph and signature.

Proceed to pay the GATE 2021 application late fee.

The confirmation page will appear on screen, save and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
The GATE 2022 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur for admission to different M.Tech courses in February 2022. The GATE 2022 will be conducted on 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th February 2022. The candidates will be able to download the GATE 2022 hall ticket post 3rd January. This year, the exam conducting body has introduced 2 new subjects- Marine Engineering & Geomatics Engineering and Naval Architecture. The candidates are allowed to fill in more than one application form. However, only one application form will be accepted by the exam authorities and the application fee will not be refunded.
