GATE 2019: Exam City Correction Process Commences, Check the Details

GATE 2019: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is to organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras).

 

The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 2, 3 and February 9 and February 10, 2019.

 

IIT Madras has started the process to change the exam city in the application forms of the candidates who wish to appear for the exam next year, according to the latest notification.

 

The online application process had already been started from November 13, 2018 onward.


The candidates who are interested to appear for the examination nest year can apply till November 16, 2018.

 

The candidates who have already registered for the GATE 2019 can visit the affline website of GATE IIT Madras for the exam city correction.

 

 

Steps to Apply for the Exam City Correction

 

 

Step 1. Go to the official website i.e. gate.iitm.ac.in

 

Step 2. Check the homepage and click on the link which reads, ‘appsgate.iitm.ac.in is the only official GATE 2019 online application portal.’

 

Step 3. Fill in the required details to log in

 

Step 4. Click on Submit button

 

Step 5. Apply for the exam city correction

 

 

GATE 2019: Subjects

 

GATE 2019 will be conducted on 24 subjects, some of which includes
 

1. Aerospace Engineering
 

2. Agricultural Engineering
 

3. Architecture and Planning
 

4. Biotechnology
 

5. Civil Engineering
 

6. Chemical Engineering
 

7. Instrumentation Engineering
 

8. Mathematics
 

9. Mechanical Engineering

 

Note: GATE 2019 score is only valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.

 

Important Dates

 

January 4, 2019: The admit cards will be made available by January 4, 2019 on the official website.

 

March 16, 2019: The results for the examination will be declared by March 16, 2019.

 

 

Online Registrations

 

The online registration process for the GATE 2019 was carried forward till September 21, 2018 without paying the late fee.

 

However the candidates were allowed to submit their applications till the extended closing date of October 1, 2018, with an extra fees.
