The rescheduled written test for constable recruitment of Odisha police for 2015 was held on Sunday in about 31 examination centres spread across Odisha.
The examination, earlier scheduled for March 15, was cancelled on the day of test as questions had leaked and were available in open market on a premium. At least eight persons have already been arrested in question leak case.
The 45-minute examination was held smoothly in each centre amid tight security and there was no report of any untoward incident received from anywhere, said Chairman of Service Selection Board of Odisha police A M Prasad, IPS.
A little over 19,000 aspirants, who had qualified in the physical tests, appeared the written examination on the day ; Prasad said adding that efforts are being made to publish the results as soon as possible for selecting candidates for 1360 posts of constables.

The OMR answer sheets would be evaluated both manually and with the help of computers to maintain transparency, Prasad said.
