CUET UG 2022 Phase 3: Here's Why the Exams Are Being Rescheduled?
Informing about the postponement of the Phase 4 exams, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar stated that the exams for 11 thousand candidates have been postponed from August 17 to August 30 in order to accommodate their preferred choice of city for the exam center. He continued to inform that the NTA has increased the capacity of the exam centers and has laid more number of exam centers to ensure smooth conduct of CUET UG 2022 Phase 4 exams.
He added that technical manpower is also being roped at every exam center to ensure that the exam is not marred by technical glitches and other administrative issues.
CUET UG 2022: What Happened Earlier?
Earlier this month, the Phase 2 of CUET UG 2022 exams had begun on August 4, 2022, which was drastically hampered due to technical glitches and administrative reasons at umpteen exam centers of the country. Owing to the same, exams for thousands of aspirants have been rescheduled, thereby delaying the conclusion of the exam, which was originally set to wrap up on August 20.
Due to the delayed schedule, the exams were to be conducted in three phases, concluding on August 28. However, the latest update from UGC's side now suggests that the exam will end on August 30 now.
