Important dates
Notification for the CTET Exam 2020 was issued on January 23, 2020.
The application process started on January 24.
The last date of the application process was March 9.
The test was scheduled to be held on July 5, 2020, but due to the increased transition of COVID-19, the dates have been pushed forward.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate should be a citizen of India.
The candidate must be at least 17 years old.
Candidate should have passed the 12th examination with at least 45% marks.
Candidate should have done a teacher training program/course.
Exam pattern-
There are two exams. Paper 1 is for the candidates teaching in the primary class, while Paper 2 is for the candidates teaching in the secondary classes. If you want, you can take appear for both.
Paper 1-
It is a multiple-choice paper. Its fixed time limit is 150 minutes.
150 questions of one mark are asked in this paper.
There is no negative marking in the examination of the seat.
This paper is divided into five parts.
Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Education.
Paper 2-
This paper is also multiple choice. It also asks 150 questions like Paper 1, which gets 150 minutes to solve.
In this paper, questions related to Child Development and Education, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Social Studies are asked.
