COVID-19 Lockdown: CLAT 2020 Exam Postponed as Registration Date Extended Again

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak and lockdown extension (Lockdown 4.0), the Consortium of National Law University (NLU) has again postponed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 examination. The authorities have also postponed the application process last date upto July 01, 2020. The NLU has issued an official notice stating the date extension of applications and postponement of the exam. Considering the current circumstances and extension in the lockdown period, the authorities decided to extend the application process.

Earlier the application process was extended upto May 18 and the CLAT 2020 entrance examination was scheduled to be held in the pen and paper mode on Sunday, 21st June 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates got further opportunity to apply for the exam in the online mode by visiting the official website.

  • Last date to fill the application form - 18 May 2020 (old)
  • Revised Last date to fill the application form - 01 July 2020
  • Admit card release date - will be announced
  • CLAT 2020 examination date - will be announced
  • Result declaration date - will be announced

 


CLAT 2020: How to fill the application form?


Candidates can follow these simple steps to fill the CLAT 2020 application form;

Step 1: Candidates will be required to visit the official website i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: Go through the detailed information brochure such as; important dates, eligibility criteria, application fee, etc.
Step 3: Click on the new registration link and generate user id and password
Step 4: Log in with the generated id and password, fill in the detailed application form and upload necessary documents.
Step 5: Submit the application fee and check the application details thoroughly
Step 6: Candidates are advised to take print of the confirmation page and keep it safe for further use.
