COVID-19 Lockdown 2.0: APPSC Main Exam 2020 for Gazetted & Non-Gazetted Posts Postponed

The main examination for the APPSC Gazetted and Non- Gazetted post has been postponed by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

The notice regarding the same has been released on the official website i.e. psc.ap.gov.in. 

The examinations were earlier scheduled to be conducted from May 10 to May 13, 2020, and May 18 to May 20, 2020.

The preliminary examination for the same was conducted in June 2019 by the Commission. The candidates who have qualified the preliminary examination were eligible to appear for the main examination. The minimum qualifying marks for consideration of a candidate to the selection process are 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SCs, and STs or as per rules.

Notification No.14/2019 will fill up 31 posts as Officers and others in various departments of the state. Notification No.15/2019 will fill up 22 posts of Technical Assistant, Deputy Inspector and other posts in the organization. The application process for both the notification was started in March 2019 and concluded in April 2019.
