Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has issued an official notice stating the postponement of JEE Advanced 2020. The IIT Delhi has issued an official notice on the website about the exam schedule. As per the notice, the board will announce the exam dates after the JEE Main 2020 examination.
The official notice reads, "JEE (Main) 2020 April Examination has been postponed due to COVID-19 outbreak. JEE (Advanced) 2020, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020, thus stands postponed and will be rescheduled after JEE (Main) 2020."
In wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the nation is witnessing a series of exam being postponed from the last couple of weeks. Many board exams, entrance exams and competitive exams have been postponed due to this pandemic disease. The school, colleges universities have been shut due to nationwide lockdown. Meanwhile, the rumours were spreading around about the JEE Advance 2020 Exam Schedule. Now the Institute has clarified all the queries and issued an official notice regarding this.
Earlier the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2020 examination information brochure was released on March 06, 2020, by the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The JEE Advance 2020 application form will be available on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates are also advised to keep an eye on the official website for official updates.
