COVID-19 Crisis: TSCHE Deferred All CET Exams Scheduled in July 2020, Check Updates

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has deferred the exam for Telangana State EAMCET, ECET & Other CETs 2020 scheduled in July 2020. The Council has issued an official notice stating the postponement of the exams due to COVID-19 pandemic. The notification of cancellation of various Common Entrance Exams (CET) 2020 is available on the official website of the TSCHE at tsche.ac.in.

The official notification reads, "The Scheduled TS CET 2020 entrance test has been postponed until further notice and the new date will be informed in due course of time.”

The Council conducts the entrance examination for admissions to the various undergraduate and postgraduate technical courses. Candidates who have applied for the Telangana State EAMCET, ECET & Other CETs 2020 examination can check the updates by visiting the official website. Prior to this, the TS EAMCET 2020 was scheduled to be conducted from July 6 to 9, 2020, TS LAWCET was supposed to be held on July 10 and TS ICET was to be conducted on July 13, 2020.

Last year, about 1.42 lakh students appeared for the engineering exam, around 74,981 appeared for the agriculture and pharmacy exam, while about 235 students appeared for both the exams.

The qualifying percentage for the engineering stream stood at 78.24% while for agriculture and pharmacy, it was 90.72%.
