NIOS 12th Board Exams 2021 Cancelled

National Institute of Open Schooling, NIOS has cancelled the class 12th board examinations this year due to COVID-19 pandemic havoc. The announcement has been made by the Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank through his official twitter account. The NIOS has also released an official notification pertaining the announcement on its official website - nios.ac.in.
The official tweet of education minister reads, "Keeping the safety and security of our students on priority, NIOS cancels class 12 examinations. Students will be evaluated based on objective criteria to be announced soon. This will benefit around 1.75 Lakhs students."

Also the NIOS has made the announcement from its Twitter handle which reads, "Keeping the safety and security of our students on priority, NIOS cancels class 12 examinations. Students will be evaluated based on objective criteria to be announced soon. This will benefit around 1.75 Lakhs students."

The examination has been canclled as the safety and security of students is the utmost priority of the students. The Boafrd authorities have cancelled both theory and practical exams for senior secondary courses this year. The marks of the students will be evaluated on the basis of objective criteria to be announced soon by the NIOS.
