COVID-19 Crisis: NCERT CEE 2020 Applications Extended Upto June 30, Exam in August

The application process for the NCERT Common Entrance Test (CEE) 2020 has been extended by the National Council of Education and Training (NCERT). The application window is opened upto June 30, 2020. All those candidates who wish to apply for the various teacher education programmes offered by the Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) can further apply for the exam till June 30. The application forms are available on the official website i.e. cee.ncert.gov.in. 

Along with the application date the Council has also announced the NCERT CEE 2020 exam dates. The common entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on August 02, 2020. The application for the same began from April 6, 2020, and was concluding on May 4, 2020. While the examination for the same was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 2020.

The Council conduct CEE examination for Admission in RIE Ajmer, RIE Bhopal, RIE Bhubaneswar, RIE Mysuru and NERIE Shillong. At present, the RIEs offer five different teacher education programmes, i.e. BSc B Ed (4 years), BA BEd (4 year), MSc Ed (6 year), BEd(2 year), and MEd (2 year).

Mode of the Exam: Offline (Pen and Paper based) exam.
