Amid the Coronavirus outbreak and extension of lockdown in India, the Consortium of NLUs has extended the application date as well as exam date for CLAT 2020 third time in a row. The application process was commenced on 1st January 2020 and will conclude on 10th July 2020. Earlier is was scheduled to conclude on 1st July 2020.

The University has also revised the exam pattern for this year.
UG Programme: The 1200 marks exam will be two-hour-long where Multiple-Choice Questions will be asked. There will be 120-150 questions of one mark each and there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
Subject areas: English including comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
PG Programme: The paper will have comprehension based questions. The exam will be two-hour long.
