The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in a good news for aspiring teachers has announced the latest schedule for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as Teacher for Class I to VIII.
CBSE would conduct the 8th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on September 20 (Sunday) all across the country.
Issuing a statement on its official website CTET said that "Candidates may apply online for the exam from 30/07/2015 to 19/08/2015 through CTET official website - www.ctet.nic.in only." The last date for Online Submission of application is 19/08/2015.
The written examination will be conducted on 20/09/2015 in two shifts.
The PAPER-II will be conducted from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM (Morning Shift) while PAPER- I will be held from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM (Evening Shift), the statement said.
Application Fee :
For General/OBC category candidates willing to apply for the posts need to pay an application fee of Rs. 600 for Paper- I only and Rs. 1000/- for Both Paper-I & II while for SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person Rs. 300/- for Paper- I only and Rs. 500/- for Both Paper-I & II. Service Charges & Service Taxes (as applicable) will be charged extra by the Bank
Mode of Payment :
Desirous candidates need to pay the application fee remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET, Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank by Debit/Credit Card.

Admit Card :
Admit Cards for the exam will be available on CTET website for download from 04/09/2015
As per the CBSE website, CTET is a mandatory qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools.
