CBSE Class 10th, 12th Board Exam 2022 Updates - PC : My Result Plus
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is to conduct the Class X and XII examinations in two terms for the year 2022. As per the official updates released earlier, the first term exam for High School and Intermediate will be held in the month of November. While the second term exam is scheduled to be held in March-April 2022. 

CBSE Term 1 Board Exams to be held for 90 minutes

This year the CBSE is conducting the term 1 examination for 90 minutes instead of three hours. The first term exam will consists of 50 percent questions from the syllabus. The question booklet will includes multiple choice questions. The board has already released the sample paper for students to get familiar to the question paper pattern and marking scheme.

One of the biggest change has also been made by the board this year is that the exam will be held in the same school where the students are studying. However the board will appoint the External Center Heads and Observers to supervise the examination. These OMR sheets will be scanned and uploaded on the CBSE portal or the schools will upload the numbers on the portal after evaluating them.

CBSE Term 2 Board Exams duration will be of 2 hours

Whereas the second term exam will be of two hours. In the CBSE second term exams, different types of questions will be asked in this which will be MCQs, short answer type and long answer type. The numbers of both the term will be added to the result of the students. 

CBSE Internal Assessment Scheme for the year 2022

For Class 10th Board Exams 2022: 
  • CBSE will consider marks scored in Classes IX-X throughout the year-irrespective of Term I and II.
  • This would include the 3 periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical work/ speaking listening activities/ project.
For Class 12th Board Exams 2022: 
  • CBSE will consider marks scored in Classes XI-XII throughout the year-irrespective of Term I and II.
  • This would include end of topic or unit tests/ exploratory activities/ practicals/ projects.
