CBSE Clarifies, Remaining 29 Examinations to be Conducted After Lockdown Ends

Putting an end to all speculation about the cancellation of the pending CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official statement. 

The CBSE stated that the examinations for the remaining subjects as per April 1 circular would be conducted by the Board, as per the official tweet.

As per the media reports, so far only 30 per cent of the paper evaluation of CBSE class 10 and class 12 students has been completed. 
Regarding the remaining examinations, the examinations will be conducted only for the important subjects and the dates for the same would be announced 10 days in advance.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) official has also said that for class 10 and class 10, it will be evaluating 2 crore papers of  36 lakh students with the help of two lakh teachers.

Talking about the official twitter handle, CBSE stated that ‘Recently there has been a lot of speculation regarding 10th CBSE Board exams. It is reiterated that the boards decision to take board exams for 29 subjects of class 10 and 12, stands the same as mentioned in circular dated 1.4.20.’
