CBSE Board Exam 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notice on August 26, pertaining to the registration for the students of Class 10 and 12 for CBSE Board exam 2023. The official notice is available to view on the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in.
CBSE Board Exam 2023: Contents of the Official Notification
Addressing all the schools affiliated to the board, the Controller of examinations, Dr Sanyam Bharadwaj stated, 'The final date for the submission of the list of the candidates slated to appear in CBSE Class 10/ Class 12 board exams in 2023 is August 31, 2022 (Wednesday).'
The notice continued to read that the board shall not allow any extension in the last date for the submission of students list, as the board needs to ensure all preparations for the upcoming board exams. It also underlined that no applications or reports for extension of last date of registration shall be entertained by the board.
CBSE Board Exam 2023: Date of Commencement
The CBSE Board exams 2023 for students of Class 10 and 12 will commence on February 15. Notably, the board shall conduct a single exam for the students from this year. In view of the dire circumstances posed by Covid-19, the board had decided to conduct exams in a bifurcated format in the academic year 2021-22.
In addition to this, the syllabus for students of Class 9 to 12 has also undergone a minor change from this year. The board has announced a 30 percent reduction in the syllabus for students of Class 9 till Class 12.
