Candidates appearing for the Common Admission Test (CAT) for entrance to IIMs and other prestigious business schools will have to sit only on two days for exam.
According to a notification issued by CAT instead of 20 or more days the examination would be conducted within the span of two days.
The CAT will be conducted on November 16 and 22 will get 30 minutes more as number of questions will be more this time. Year by year the number of applicants applying for CAT is on decline.
The CAT 2014 will be held on November 16 and 22 across 99 cities at 354 examination centres in four sessions.
The registration process for CAT will begin from August 6 and close on September 30. TCS will take care of technical aspect of the computer-based examination.
