CAT 2022: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has released the official notification for CAT 2022 today on July 31. According to the official notification, the registration window for the exam will open on August 3, 2022 at 10 am. Candidates willing to apply for the exam must go through the eligibility criteria at length before proceeding with the CAT 2022 application process. The link to fill the application forms for the exam will be activated at iimcat.ac.in.

- CAT 2022 Registration Commencement date: August 3, 2022

The eligibility criteria for candidates desirous of applying for CAT 2022 has been mentioned below.
- Educational qualification: Candidates should have completed their graduation in any discipline from a known or recognised university. Final year candidates pursuing their bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply for the exam. In addition to this, the general category candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in their qualifying exam, while the criteria is set at 45% for the reserved category candidates.
- Age limit: Age is no bar for the applicants.
The general category candidates will be required to pay a fee of Rs 2,300 to apply for the exam. Meanwhile, the reserved category candidates must pay Rs 1,150 to register for the exam.
CAT 2022: Details
Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission to MBA and PGDM courses. The IIMs of the country conduct the exam on a rotational basis. This year, IIM Bangalore is conducting the exam, for which around 2.5 lakh candidates are expected to register. The CAT 2022 exam will advance in three slots.
