Step 3: Read the instructions carefully and apply accordingly.

BPSC Syllabus for Prelims Exam
General Science, Current events of national and international importance,
History of India & Bihar, Polity and economy of India, Economy of Bihar After Independence,
Indian National Movement and Bihar Contribution in INM, Geography of India & Bihar, General Mental Ability

BPSC Syllabus for Mains Exam
There are four papers in BPSC Main Examination. The Papers include Hindi, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2 & one Optional Paper. Total marks assigned to Written Examination is 900.

General Studies Paper I
1. Modern History of India & India Culture
2. Current Events of national and international importance
3. Statistical analysis, graph and diagrams

General Studies Paper II
1. Indian Polity
2. Indian Economy and Geography of India
3. The role and impact of science & technology in the development of India

Application fee
General category candidates will have to pay Rs. 600 as application fee.
Candidates of the reserved category will have to pay application fee of Rs. 150.
The application fee can be paid via any mode be it Debit or Credit card, Net Banking etc.


Admit card Bihar Civil Service Exam 2018:
Admit card for Both Prelim and Main exam will be out on official site of BPSC.
The applicants can download their Admit card on that site.
Admit card/Hall ticket will contain all details regarding the examination.

About BPSC 64th Combined Pre Competitive Exam Merit list
Selection will be based on merit list.
The preliminary exam is qualifying in nature.
Authority will generate merit list (category wise)
Merit list will be issued at official site.

Eligibility Criteria 
Before registering, candidates must make sure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria of Bihar PSC Civil Services mandated by the Commission. The eligibility criteria has been provided below.

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university to be eligible for BPSC CCE 2018.

Age Limit: The lower age limit has been mandated as 20, 21 and 22 years for the various posts available under BPSC 2018.

Qualifying cut off of BPSC Civil Services 2018 prelims exam:

General: 40%

OBC: 36.5%

Extremely Backward Class: 34%

SC/ ST/ Women/ PwD: 32%

Note: Candidates applying under reserved categories must have domicile in Bihar. SC, ST and OBC candidates from other states will be considered under general category.
