Selection: Selection will be based on Written Test
The selection process in three stages:
The Controller of Examinations stated that the selection process will be completed in three stages. There will be two papers in the preliminary examination. The first paper will be of 100 marks in general studies.
The second paper will have 150 marks related to the method. There will be objective questions in the paper for two hours. One-fourth mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. Candidates who qualify in this will get an opportunity to appear in the main examination. It will have seven papers.
The first paper will be a general study of 100 marks, the second 100 marks of Hindi and the third will be of 100 marks in English paper. The fourth letter will be the Indian Penal Code-1860, the fifth letter will be the Indian Evidence Act-1872, the sixth Penal Procedure Code-1973, and the seventh other law paper.
The letters associated with the method will be of 150–150 marks. Descriptive questions will be asked in the main examination. Each paper will have a test duration of three hours. After the main examination, the candidates will have to appear in an interview of 100 marks.
