The National Eligibility Test (NET) for AYUSH is going to be held on November 13, 2018, as per the notification by Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS).
AYUSH Examinations is a state level and college/university level examination. Candidates have big opportunity to enter and pursue the education in Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy fields can get to know about AYUSH entrance exams and appear in them.
The online registration will start from September 12; interested students can register on the official site of AYUSH (ayush.gov.in.).
CCRAS will conduct this exam on behalf of Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN), Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) and Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH).
About the Exam
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, it was formed on November 9, 2014, to ensure the development and propagation of AYUSH systems of health care.
Earlier it was known as the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM&H) which was created in March 1995 and renamed as Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) in November 2003, with focused attention for development of Education and Research in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
Aspiring candidates should be post-graduate in any of the AYUSH streams or graduation with 5 years of experience.
Age Limit
The age limit for the candidate to appear for an exam should not exceed 32 years.
Exam Pattern
The exam will comprise of two parts:
Part I- it will consist of the aptitude section which is compulsory for all disciplines and comprises of 30 Questions for all subjects on general science and research aptitude.
Part II- Subject specific section: Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Sidhha and Homeopathy the exam will carry a total of 120 marks.

Admit card date: October 23, 2018
The exam will take place in 5 different cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati for awarding PhD fellowship (SRF) in related streams.
