The Directorate of Technical Education, DTE Assam has announced to postpone the Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2020. The decision has been taken in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and a significant increase in positive cases across the state. Earlier the Assam PAT 2020 was scheduled to be conducted on July 19, 2020, and August 9, 2020. The DTE has issued the official notice on its official website, at dte.assam.gov.in. All those candidates who have applied for the Assam Polytechnic admission test can read the notification by visiting the official website.
The Assam PAT 2020 application form was released on March 01 and the last date to submit the online application was May 10, which the DTE had further extended till June 10.
Assam PAT 2020 Exam:
- The Assam PAT is a written examination based on the pen & paper mode.
- The exam paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- The written exam duration is of 03 hours.
- The exam paper will be available on both the English and Hindi medium.
- There will be 100 questions for a total of 100 marks (1 mark each). There will be no negative marking.
- The level of question paper will be based on H.S.L.C Level.
