AFCAT 2024 Exam: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is going to close the application window for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 today, June 28. According to the official notice, the AFCAT 2024 exam will be conducted from 9 to 11 August 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. afcat.cdac.in. to fill out their application form.
This exam is conducted to fill out a total of 317 posts in the flying branch, ground duty (technical) branch, and ground duty (non-technical) branch. Also, the admit card for the same will be released on 24 July 2024 on the official website.

Candidates registering for AFCAT 2024 exam will need to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 550. However, candidates from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) special entry are exempt from this fee.

The AFCAT 2024 exam will consist of general awareness, verbal ability in English, numerical ability, and reasoning and military aptitude tests. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours, carrying 100 questions, and the maximum marks allotted will be 300.

Candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and no marks will be awarded for un- attempted questions.

- The upper age limit for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India is relaxable up to 26 years.
- Ground Duty Branches: Candidates age should be between 20 years to 26 years
