AFCAT 2020: Application Process Begins Today, Check Steps to Apply

The application process for the AFCAT Group A Gazetted Officer recruitment exam begins today i.e. June 15, 2020, by the Indian Air Force (IAF). 

The Indian Air Force (IAF) had recently invited the applications for the posts of AFCAT (02/2020). The candidates who wish to appear for the exam must have a Bachelor’s degree, B.E./B.Tech degree.
The applications are now available on the official website i.e. afcat.cdac.in.
The applications will be available from June 15, 2020, to July 14, 2020.

The courses are scheduled to begin in July 2021 for grant of Short Service Commission, SSC in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, according to the official notification.

Step 1: Visit the official website i.e. afcat.cdac.in
Step 2: Find and click on the application forms for AFCAT 2020, on the homepage
Step 3: Register yourself using your phone number or email id to generate a password
Step 4: Fill in the required details in the form and submit the exam fee
Step 5: Download the application form for the future reference

IAF AFCAT 2020: Selection process
The selection process of IAF AFCAT 2020 comprises of Stage 1 and Stage 2 written test.
STAGE-I is a screening test. Those who qualify STAGE-I are eligible to undergo STAGE-II testing. STAGE-I disqualified candidates are routed back after the announcement of results.
