The application process for the Indian Air Force AFCAT 2020 is to begin tomorrow i.e. June 15, 2020, by the Indian Air Force.
The applications were invited by the Indian Air Force for the posts of AFCAT (02/2020) recently. The candidates with a Bachelor’s degree, B.E./B.Tech pass candidates can apply at afcat.cdac.in from June 15, 2020, to July 14, 2020.
The courses are scheduled to begin in July 2021 for grant of Short Service Commission, SSC in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches, according to the official notification.
IAF AFCAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Post: AFCAT Entry
Branch: Flying: The candidate must have cleared a Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level/ BE/ BTech Course.
Age Limit: 20 to 24 years
Branch: Ground Duty (Technical): The candidate must have cleared 10+2 Intermediate minimum 60% Marks in Physics and Math and Minimum 4 Year Graduation/ Integrated PG Degree in Engineering/ Technology
Age Limit: 20 to 26 years
Ground Duty (Non- Technical)
Branch: Admin: The candidate must have cleared a Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with at Least Minimum 60% Marks
Age Limit: 20 to 26 years
Branch: Accounts: The candidate must have cleared a Bachelor Degree in Commerce B.Com with at Least Minimum 60% Marks
Post: NCC Special Entry
Branch: Flying: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and Other Details as per Flying Branch Eligibility.
Age Limit: 20 to 24 years
Post: Meteorology Entry

IAF AFCAT 2020: Selection process
The selection process of IAF AFCAT 2020 comprises of Stage 1 and Stage 2 written test.
STAGE-I is a screening test. Those who qualify STAGE-I are eligible to undergo STAGE-II testing. STAGE-I disqualified candidates are routed back after the announcement of results.
