Elaborate arrangements have been made to conduct Intermediate Public Examinations 2014 in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, scheduled to commence from March 12.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Regional Inspecting Officer Intermediate Education Regional Inspecting Officer at RajahmundryK P Dasaradhi said that a total of 98,239 students would appear for exams, including 7,244 private candidates and 13,093 vocational courses students.
A high-powered committee would monitor the exams and five flying squads as well as ten sitting squads would supervise the process of examinations, while 126exam centres have been set up in the district. A departmental officer has been appointed for co-ordination, he said.
He said exams would be conducted everyday from9 am to 12 pm and exams centres would be monitored through global positioning system (GPS), he said.
He said that Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation buses would run in 15 routes to help students attend exams.
