Banks should give loans to the youths: Munda
Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today suggested Union Bank of India''s Executive Director S K Jain that banks should show eagerness in giving loans to the youths keen in entrepreneurship.

“Along with educational loans, the banking institutes should show keenness in lending loans to people seeking self-sustenance and become entrepreneurs,” Munda said when Jain called the chief minister at his residence here.

Informing the banker about Jharkhand observing the “Year for Youth” to make them skilled hands, Munda said banking facilities would be a great help.

“Working capital should be made available for self-help groups,” Munda said adding each citizen in the state should have banking facilities in their endeavour to become self-sustenance.

Jain apprised Munda of banking facilities in Jharkhand and assured his bank''s contribution in areas of minor and medium industries.
