NEET 2024: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Junior Doctors Network has demanded a CBI inquiry into the alleged irregularities in the NEET 2024 results. The IMA Junior Doctors Network has also requested a re-examination "to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process for all the students".

The development comes after several ministers demanded a probe into the NEET "irregularities", thereby questioning the credibility of the results. The controversy erupted after sixty-seven candidates scored 720 marks out of 720 in the NEET exam, thereby achieving 100 percent marks. After the results, a few students ended their lives over the NEET exam results confusion.

They further said, "We demand a CBI inquiry into the above irregularities in NEET 2024. We also request a re-examination to ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process for all students. The future of India's education system depends on the integrity and fairness of such important examinations. We trust that you will consider our plea seriously."
