The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HP BOSE) is introducing pre-board examination from this year. Students studying in class X and XII will have to appear for the pre-board examination from this academic session 2019 - 20.
According to media reports, Principal Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Education Board - KK Pant held a meeting with departmental officials before implementing this new system. The system has been introduced to improve the results of board examinations.
KK Pant informed that the SCERT Solan will organise the pre-board examinations of class X and XII in the months of November 2019 and February 2020. This new effort will make it easier for students to score well in the annual examination conducted by the board.
During the meeting, instructions were given to expedite the updating of the software being made for the transfer of teachers. NIC is preparing software for online transfer of more than 80 thousand teachers appointed in government schools of the Himachal Pradesh state.
The Himachal Pradesh state has planned to make the policy for the transfer of teachers on the basis of the policy introduces in the state of Haryana and Punjab. From the new academic session, the transfer of teachers of the state will be done through software .i., online transfer.
The software will transfer the teachers by giving numbers based on various parameters. Teachers serving in difficult, remote and tribal areas of the Himachal Pradesh state will get more marks. While the teachers appointed in general areas will get less marks. To apply this pattern the state is divided into five zones.
About 25 thousand JBT, 18 thousand C&V, 18 thousand TGT and 20 thousand PGT appointed in various government schools of Himachal Pradesh State will come under the ambit of the transfer policy. During the meeting, various other schemes of the Education Department were also discussed in detail. Several senior officials of the Education Department were also present in the meeting.
