CBSE Warns Those Who Spread Fake News on Social Media

In order to get rid of the rumours and fake news which have been spreading through social media platforms, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued official notifications on Monday regarding the same.

After noticing the on-going viral content on social media about the board exam is totally fake. CBSE asked not to believe any such notice, as these notices are fake news and have no relation with CBSE.

For the last few days, the notice regarding the evaluation and passing criteria of the CBSE board exam is becoming viral. CBSE says that these notices are going viral for the purpose of confusing students and parents and do not believe any such notices.


The official Notice by CBSE:
It is brought to the notice of all that there are some unscrupulous elements circulating fake news in form of lookalike circulars about CBSE board exams, evaluation, and passing criteria through various social media groups with the sole purpose of misleading innocent students and parents.

The board has in the recent past taken strict action against rumourmongers by filing FIRs against individuals, links under IT act, it will be again compelled to trace the sources and book these miscreants under law.

Public and media are also informed not to believe such rumours and check official announcements on the Board’s official handles.
