The Board Secretary Anurag Tripathi has made a major announcement at the school education summit organised by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
Board Secretary Anurag Tripathi said that looking at the future of the country, this is the greatest need of the hour. He said that this year students of class 10 will be asked 20 percent objective questions and 10 percent questions related to creative ideas in the exam. While by 2023, the papers of 10th and 12th students will be based on creative, innovative and deep thinking.
Tripathi said that many students in India do not adopt vocational subjects due to lack of employment and lack of stability in the market. He said that proper linkages need to be established between the major stakeholders in the school system such as teachers, parents and students and infrastructure. Talking about the new education policy, he said that it aims to fill the gap between vocational subjects and core subjects.
