UPPSC Agricultural services exam 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission's (UPPSC) is going to close the registration window for the Combined Agriculture Services exam 2024 today, 10 May, 2024. 

 

Eligible candidates can submit their applications for the UPPSC vacancy by visiting the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in.

 

Candidates must note that the UPPSC Agricultural services exam 2024 application correction window will be open till 16  May. The UPPSC Agricultural services recruiting campaign aims at hiring to fill 268 positions in total. 

 

The examination is scheduled to take place in July 2024. However, the UPPSC exam this year, was originally supposed to take place in the first week of April, but the general elections that are coming up have caused the schedule to be pushed back.

 

UPPSC Exam 2024: Age limit 

  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old as of 1 July, 2024.
  • The maximum age limit for candidates is 40 years as of 1 July, 2024.
  • Upper age limit relaxations are applicable as per government regulations.

 

UPPSC Exam 2024: Educational qualification

  • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science or a Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Chemistry, Horticulture, Soil Science/Soil Conservation, Fruit and Vegetable Technology, Fruit Preservation Science, or any of the prescribed subjects.
  • The degree must be obtained from a recognized University or Board.
  • The specific subject requirement may vary based on the preferred post.

 

UPPSC Exam 2024: Application fee

  • For Unreserved/OBC/EWS categories, the online application fee is Rs 125
  • For SC/ST/ESM categories, the online application fee is Rs 65
  • Persons with disabilities (PWDs) are required to pay a fee of Rs 25

  • Firstly, visit the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in
  • Then, click on the ‘Combined Agriculture Services exam registration’ link, on the homepage.
  • Next, key in your OTR details and login.
  • Now, fill out the form, upload documents, pay the fee and submit.
  • Download and take a printout for future reference.
