SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam dates for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL 2024) tier 2 exam. According to the released schedule, the SSC CHSL tier 2 exam 2024 will commence on 18 November 2024 for candidates who cleared the tier 1 exam.
According to the official notice, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024 (Tier-II) on the 18th day of November, 2024.” The SSC CHSL exam 2024 will comprise of tier 1 computer-based test (CBT), tier 2 descriptive paper, and tier 3 typing test/ skill test.
The candidates may note that detailed information such as syllabus, and exam pattern will be released on the official website i.e. ssc.gov.in. soon. The category-wise SSC CHSL cut-off marks and the number of candidates short-listed for appearing in the tier-II exam were announced along with the tier 1 results i.e. on 6 September 2024.
SSC conducts a Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam every year at the national level to shortlist eligible candidates for Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts. It is held in 2 stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Tier 1 was conducted from 1 to 11 July 2024. A total of 39,835 candidates qualified and will have to appear for the Tier 2 exam, which will be conducted on 18 November 2024.
SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam will be conducted in a computer-based test format. The exam paper will consist of three sections with two modules each. The merit list will be issued based on aggregate marks scored in Section I and Section II of the Tier 2 exam, while Section III will be qualifying in nature. Each question will carry 3 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
