The candidates who want to apply for the same can visit the official website i.e. nextexam.in for submitting the application.
This year, the NEST 2024 exam will be conducted on 30 June 2024. The institute will issue the NEST 2024 admit card on 15 June 2024. The NEST result 2024 will be declared on 10 July 2024. The application fee for male candidates from the general and other backward classes (OBC) categories for NEST 2024 is Rs 1,400. For candidates belonging to the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and Divyangjan (physically challenged) categories, as well as for all female candidates, the application fee is Rs 700.
NEST 2024 Exam: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should have completed their Class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics as mandatory subjects.
Candidates from the general or other backward classes (OBC) category are required to have passed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate, while candidates belonging to the reserved category should have obtained at least 55% in their Class 12 exam.

NEST 2024 Exam: How to apply?
- Go to https://www.nestexam.in/, the official NEST website.
- Select the "Online Registration" option.
- To create your username and password, you'll be walked through a registration process.
- After registering, open the application form by logging in with your credentials.
- Carefully fill out the online application form, providing every necessary detail such as your preferred exam center and academic record.
- Submit scanned copies of your signature and photo according to the guidelines provided.
- Use one of the various online payment methods to pay the application fee (credit card, debit card, or net banking). The cost is decided by the caste category you fall into.
