CSIR-UGC NET Exam 2024: The National testing agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET 2024 June examination, registration window till 27 May (upto 11:50 pm).   

 

According to the officially revised dates, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility test 2024 (CSIR-UGC NET), registration window  will be active till 27 May.

 

Eligible candidates can submit their CSIR NET Application forms by visiting the official website at (csirnet.nta.ac.in). 

 

However, candidates must note that their is no changes in the CSIR-UGC NET examination scheduled. which is from 25 - 27 June, 2024,  in online computer-based test (CBT) mode. 

 

Additionally, the medium of the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi languages, providing flexibility to candidates in choosing their preferred language.

 

Candidates must note that the last day of CSIR NET Application fee submission now is 27 May (upto 11:50 pm) and the application correction window will be active between 29 - 31 May, 2024.

CSIR-UGC NET Exam 2024: Exam pattern 

  • Exam Dates: 25, 26, aand 27 June, 2024. 
  • Mode of Exam: Computer-based test (CBT). 
  • Medium of Paper: English and Hindi. 
  • Exam Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours).
  • Question Format: Objective-type questions with multiple choices.
  • Application fee: It has to be paid online, through debit or credit cards, internet banking or UPI; last date- 27 May.

CSIR-UGC NET Exam 2024: Registration process

  • Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website (csirnet.nta.ac.in).
  • Then, go on the application link, available on the homepage and register. 
  • Remember to download the CSIR NET information brochure to go through the instructions given. 
  • Select the "Click Here to Proceed" button by checking the box at the bottom of the page.
  • Next, the CSIR NET Registration Form will appear on your screen .
  • Register and fill in your required details in application form. 
  • Pay the application fee and submit. 
  • Lastly, download and take a print out for future reference.
