Eduniversal Paris has rated IIM Bangalore as No.1 B-School in Central Asia in the year 2016. In addition to this, the Institute has also been conferred the 5 Palmes of Excellence award. IIM Bangalore has been ranked as the top B-school by Eduniversal Paris for the 8th year in a row.
Professor Sourav Mukherji, Dean (Programmes), received the award in Perth, Australia. He commented that "IIM Bangalore’s efforts in strengthening research and teaching have paid handsome dividends by enhancing our international reputation."
Professor Ishwar Murthy, Dean (Faculty), IIM Bangalore said "We must acknowledge the contributions of our outstanding faculty who are all part of the immense success of IIMB as a management institute. We are at a stage now where we can build upon our strong foundation and attain greater heights of success. We are committed to continuing our investment in faculty and research."
In 2016, IIM Bangalore also topped the list of best management institutes in the ‘India Ranking 2016’ by MHRD’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
