Uttar Pradesh: Government To Make Secondary Education Model For Quality, Says Deputy CM
Model For Quality
Highlighting a slew of measures taken by Yogi government, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma on Sunday said the state government is working towards making secondary education in the state a "model for quality education".

"To achieve the goal, a comprehensive plan has been prepared for activating major components associated in the system," Sharma said.
The report comes a week after UP government announced that it is planning to introduce free education scheme in government schools across the state.

"We are trying to start KG to PG scheme in a few cities from the next academic session,” said Sahrma on the sidelines of the convocation ceremony held at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University recently.

"We have decided to reduce exam schedule for both UP board and degree colleges. The UP board exams will be held as usual in February, while we will declare the exam date for degree colleges and universities this month," he further added.
"Today we have taken an important decision but we are yet to announce it. Both the Class 10 and Class 12 state board exams will begin on February 7 and will be completed within 16 working days," Sharma told ANI.

As reported by Hindi Daily, Hindustan, the marks originally given to several students by the examiner was increased in the marks sheet.
However, UP board declared the class 10th and 12th result 2018 on April 29, 2018.
