The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPRPB) is all set to recruit 40,000 Police Personnel and 2500 Sub-Inspector soon.
"A consensus has been approved on the proposal of DGP Headquarter," Devashish Panda, Principal Secretary said.
The notification in this context has been issued to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. The Board will soon issue the recruitment advertisement to hire on those vacant posts.
Panda said that "The recruitment process for 40000 Police Personnel will kick off soon while there will be direct recruitment of 2500 Head Constable posts also.
Police Department has always informed about lack of police personnel so this recruitment drive will be done. During Mayawati Govt a total of 35,000 candidates were inducted in UP Police. After this during SAPA Govt a total of 41,610 person were inducted.
