University of Delhi Observed The Anti-Terrorism Day on May 21

The University of Delhi observed the Anti-terrorism Day on May 21, 2018.

The main activity was conducted in the council hall of the historical Vice Regal Lodge.

It was attended by all officers, staff (teaching and non-teaching) of the University of Delhi including the vice-chancellor, pro-vice chancellor, dean of colleges and registrar.

The terrorism was described as a curse which was devastated the mankind across the regions, religions, races in general and children and women in particular and our nation has been the victim of terrorism since last so many decades.

The pro-vice chancellor administered the anti-terrorism pledge in English followed by the registrar in Hindi to the gathering.

Thereafter, two minutes silence was observed to offer homage to those people who lost their lives due to terrorist acts.
