Amar Ujala Foundation will begin an Annual Scholarship Programme for students from this year in the beloved memory of Late Atul Maheshwari, Innovator of Amar Ujala Group.
Under this programme 225 students would be given the scholarship of more than Rs/-15 Lakhs.
The students studying in State High School Boards, Govt Colleges and Govt Universities (Bachelor courses) from Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Praesh and Chandigarh would be eligible for this programme.
Those students would be eligible to appear in written examination to be conducted for this programme who would have secured a minimum 60 % marks in their last Annual Exam and their annual family income should be less than 1.5 Lakhs.
The students studying in class 9th and 11th may take advantage of this scholarship programme for two years while the students of class 10th and 12th would get this benifit for one year. The students pursuing their bachelor courses would be able to get advantage of the programme for three years.
Students pursuing their studies from CBSE, ISC, ICSE and Semester system for Technical Education would not get the benefit of the programme.
The announcement for filling the Registration Form and Date of Examination to apply for this scholarship programme will soon be announced.
