Clearing bank exam is a goal for many, but a few students are able to crack it in the first attempt. 

With SBI PO mains exam scheduled to be held on August 4, 2018, lakhs of students are puzzled and confused.

If you are one of them then don’t worry. Follow the shortcut tricks to score high marks. 

Thorough knowledge of the Syllabus
Always remember that the questions are set within the syllabus. Read according to the syllabus. Most of the students learn the chapters and fail to complete the syllabus.   
Diet 
Always maintain a proper diet and be healthy. To crack the exam, your mind and health should be on the same track. Therefore, eat healthy food and avoid chunk food.  

Time management
Marks are allotted when the answers are short and precise. Answer what is asked and not what you know. 

Practice solving the maximum number of questions within a stipulated period of time. To better your speed, you must keep monitoring. 

Choose your favourite section first
You must choose to solve your strong section first. This will heighten your confidence and the chances of leftover questions from your strong section will be eliminated. 
Effort 
It takes a lot of diligence and constant effort to crack bank exam. You must remain consistent, keep up the focus, up your confidence and avoid distractions.

Performance Analysis 
You must track your performance and keep reviewing yourself. Your performance must go on the higher side every time. This will also help you to find out your weakness. 

Group Discussion 
Brush up on a lot of general knowledge and Banking Awareness questions.

Mock papers
Practice mock papers as much as possible.
Practising the mock papers will help the students in getting the idea about the kind of questions, the format of the paper.

Selection process
As per the SBI PO selection procedure, candidates participating in SBI PO 2018 recruitment will have to undergo all three phases of the selection process as given below.
Phase 1 - Preliminary Examination
Phase 2 - Main Examination
Phase 3 - Group Exercises and Interview

The main examination of SBI PO is divided into two stages:

1/4 of the total marks for a question will be deducted for every incorrect response.
Descriptive Test

Candidates appearing for the mains exam of SBI PO will need to appear for descriptive test immediately after the objective test is completed.
The descriptive test will be conducted for 30 minutes for a total of 50 marks. 
Candidates who clear the cut-off score for the main examination will be called for group exercise and interview test.

Total weighted score = Scores obtained in Reasoning & Computer Aptitude + Data Analysis and interpretation + General/ Economy/ Banking awareness + English Language
