Amongst the BRICS countries, IITs and IISc, Banglore have made it through the top 20 universities in the latest QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) rankings 2018.
The QS BRICS University Rankings 2018 feature 300 top universities from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
Ninth rank has been secured by IIT Bombay followed by IISc Bangalore which is on tenth, IIT Delhi is on fifteenth and IIT Madras is on eighteenth.
The university rankings Compare the world’s top universities with the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, and explore leading institutions by region and subject.
The top three ranks have been secured by Chinese universities including Tsingha University, Peking University and Fudan University.
