From current academic year, the students of class 11 and 12 of Haryana Board of School Education will be introduced with the public administration as a subject.
With the immense popularity of public administration subject among students, many schools have included the subject in their course book.
From now on public administration will be taught in class XI and XII. For this Haryana Board of School Education’s secretary has issued a notice. The subject will be included under faculty of arts.
The subject can be opted as per student’s interest. Till now Public administration subject was not included in the Haryana Board curriculum for schools.
Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak (MDU)’s department of public administration has recently proposed the Haryana board with respect to introduce the subject in schools.
The university has underlined the importance of the subject that how it will help the aspirants of civil services and the subject plays a vital role while making policies for the country.
After the consideration of the proposal by MDU, the board has decided to provide the subject in all schools with the current academic year. In State government schools, teachers of political science will teach this subject.
