Mumbai University (MU) has collaboration with Pawan Hans (PH), state run helicopter services operator, will offer Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering.
While MU and PH signed a Memorandum of Understanding in connection with the dual qualification course, the university released a statement saying that a dedicated chopper service called Mumbai Darshan will start from Kalina campus in order to give practical lessons to students.
“MU vice-chancellor has suggested that we start practical sessions for students and we are in support of this move,” said Dr B P Sharma, chairman and managing director for Pawan Hans.
